April 2018: Adopted together by a FURR Volunteer!

I had been struggling for months knowing that after a year in that one room at FURR for Mrs. & Twin kitties, something had to change. It was obvious, by now, that no one was going to adopt the cats together and you talk about “tough love”…….it was breaking my heart to separate them. I also knew that their current life could not continue.

THEN, I got a text message from PAM (FERN’S MOM) and she told me that after careful thought and consideration, she and Fern were opening up their home and their hearts to the TWIN kitties!!!

Needless to say, I cried buckets for an entire day and I am just beside myself with joy for these two precious cats! I know that PAM will love them unconditionally and provide a great home for them! PAM is especially gentle, quiet and caring. I could not imagine a better place for the girls to go!

After FERN in eventually introduced to the twins, I can just imagine PAM’s bed covered with three of the most beautiful long-haired black & white cats FURR has ever had! All three of the cats have the exact same personalities…….a little shy, super sweet, innocent & loving. I think, just like with KATHLEEN’S adoption of Tinker, it is going to be a beautiful match for all!

The twins will be leaving around the 3rd week in May after PAM returns from a trip to see her family in Ohio. Also, I am making sure that Fern gets her shots to inoculate her for FeLV. After the twins go to PAM’s and stay for about a week in their “safe” room, they will be ready to meet Fern and there will be lots of happy times to come for all!!!

Their Story
Watch their video! MRS. KITTY and TWIN KITTY are so sweet and they really love other.  We intend to adopt them out as a pair not only because they are so close, but also because TWIN KITTY is a special needs cat and needs to remain with her sister. They desperately need a home so they can get out of the one small room they are living in. This gorgeous matching pair is only about a year old and waiting to meet you so they can share their lives with someone who loves and cares for them!

Like all FURR kitties, this kitty is fully vetted with vaccinations and spaying/neutering. The Adoption fee also includes Microchipping to an approved home only.

We rescued Girlfriend (their pregnant mom) and we were super duper happy when she had 4 unbelievably beautiful kittens!

First at the top photo, meet Chiffon – a beautiful female kitten so soft you wouldn’t believe it with fur that feels like cotton and gorgeous BLUE EYES!  Not only are ALL these kittens shown here sweet as can be, but they are friendly, healthy and ready for their “furrever” home!  It would be amazing if we could keep them together…they just love each other!

Next, meet their two  siblings, Casanova (a handsome male) & Cashmere (another gorgeous female)!

REBO is an amazing cat that has survived the odds………BIG TIME!  This “reborn” (hence “REBO”) cat was hit by a car and left for dead in the middle of the road.  He laid there all day until someone passed by (a second time) and stopped to move him off the road.  This cat was still ALIVE!  In a coma for 2-3 days we did not know if REBO was going to survive, but he did!  He made it, woke up, and is just a fabulous kitty!  He is special needs because his sight is still somewhat hindered, but everything else is great!  This cat is so sweet and you can pick him up and hold him like a baby!  He loves to be scratched and petted!  His adorable crossed eyes almost make him look like a Disney character!  You cannot believe how wonderful this cat is until you meet him in person!  He is so lucky and the care and prayers that FURR provided him paid off!

REBO will be a terrific indoor kitty, but will need to be loved and slowly introduced to a new home.  He can see some, and that might improve with time, but right now, his vision is slightly impaired, so he needs a very understanding and loving family to take care of him!!!  REBO is only about 10 months old and is completely vetted and ready to go!!!  Do yourself a favor and come meet this miracle of a kitty!  You will be moved!

The adoption of MEEZER 1 went extremely well!  Her new name is “Dora” and her new mom is in LOVE with her!  This was truly a match made in Heaven and especially since Ms. Betty had just lost her beloved Maggie Moo.  Meezer is so happy at Betty’s and she is getting tons of love, brushing, food and ANYTHING else she wants or needs!  Meezer is being so sweet and both Betty and Meezer (Dora) are really happy together.  This is such a blessing.

Losing Maggie Moo effected all of us, but especially Betty who had loved and cared for her for years.  Maggie Moo will never be replaced, but Betty had a lot of love still left to give, so Meezer was the lucky one to be picked!  I am so happy for this poor kitty that came from a horrible place and now is totally happy!!!  What a great match!

ADORABLE big-eyed baby girl kitten with AMAZING rescue story!!! This kitty was found underneath a car that had stopped at an intersection during rush hour! The driver heard a noise, got out of their car, stopped up traffic for miles and discovered a kitten riding underneath the car! How she survived is anyone’s guess, but obviously she managed to hang on! Once she was rescued, she just purred and purred with gratitude! The courage that this little kitten displayed and the fact that she is a non-stop purring kitty resulted in the name “PURRAGE”! This kitten certainly deserves the BEST home ever! Cracker and Danny are adopted together at a late July 2017 PetSmart Weekend!

A wonderful lady fell in love with Danny & Crackers today!  She is married and she and her husband are newly retired.  They have had cats their entire lives and are currently without a kitty since losing their last one.  She was ready for 2 new ones and just really loved these two.  She was not at all bothered by the fact that Danny is 90 miles an hour and an “in your face” kind of kitty and that Crackers is super fun, playful and sweet – more of a cuddle kitty.  She is a retired teacher and her husband retired from one of the airlines. I am going to do a home visit tomorrow. I am so happy that 2 of our older kittens got a home!  Really happy for them, but gonna miss them so much!  Isn’t that wonderful!!!

Danny’s Story
Absolutely Adorable!! Danny is a super cute tabby and white boy who also has 4 other brothers to play with. Born at our facility in March 2017, they are super sweet and cuddly and can’t wait for their furever home so they can be someone’s new kitty best friend! Cracker’s Story
