Ready to Adopt a Kitty?

Please refer to Our Adoption Process below, which includes our Adoption Application Questionnaire

Please note there is no need to complete an adoption questionnaire on any of our other adoption sites, such as FURR at Adopt-a-Pet.com or FURR at petfinder.com among others. We only need our  Adoption Application Questionnaire completed.

When you adopt one of Terry’s beautiful kitties you will be adopting a healthy and very well cared for kitty.

All of the kitties are fully vetted. This means they are FIV/FeLV/HW (Feline Aids, Feline Leukemia, Feline Heart Worm Disease) negative, have age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, are regularly treated for fleas with Revolution and have a clean bill of health. The adult kitties are all spayed or neutered. The kittens are spayed or neutered when they are old enough. The kitties keep themselves clean by using their scratching posts and litter boxes.

Remember, when you adopt a kitty you make room in our facility for us to rescue another kitty! All the kitties deserve to be adopted and have their own forever homes so they can be a part of a family!

Our Adoption Process:
  1. Find a new friend on FURR’s Adopt-a-Pet.com page.
  2. Email Terry Schultz, our President, at adoptafurrcat@gmail.com for an appointment to meet a kitty.
  3. Complete our Adoption Application Questionnaire. This is required of all prospective adopters.
  4. Terry visits the home of every prospective adopter to ensure a good fit for everyone.
  5. Sign the adoption contract when everyone agrees that you and the kitty are a good match.
  6. Pay the small adoption fee. This is necessary for each kitty to pay for each kitty’s veterinary care and everything we do for the welfare of each kitty. This fees also enables us to rescue the next kitty desperately in need.
  7. Terry delivers your new kitty to your home.
  8. Your kitty is the next Adoption Success Story!
  9. Terry visits new adopters shortly after delivery to ensure the kitty is acclimating well with their new family and home.

If you are not ready to adopt a kitty, please consider fostering or sponsoring. All donations are tax deductible.
