Oct. 17, 2026 MAMA BATTS HAS A HOME!!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
This little sweet, shy black overlooked girl has waited soooo long for a chance at love & home!!!
The wonderful, kind & compassionate fella that adopted Runny (another sweet shy overlooked black kitty) agreed to take Mama B! She will be a friend for Runny & both kitties knew each other before.
Both of these kitties had a hard start in life & suffered before being rescued at FURR.
Runny lived in an abandoned car wash & had a horrible painful infected runny eye. She survived because Kristy fed her every day until FURR had room to take her in.
The poor kitty now has an amazing home & she’s an uptown girl living in a beautiful high rise condo downtown Wilmington with huge windows & a view of the pool!
Now, Mama Batts has joined her & we are so thrilled! It’s a dream come true for 2 little black female kitties!
Mama Batts story was posted in the Pawprints magazine this month (see attached). I also wrote a story beside her ad about the fate of black dogs & cats. It’s unbelievably sad.
BUT!!! This story is a happy one for 2 little black kitties! I miss them both so much!
September 2026 Meet Mama B – one of our sweetest little angels. However, Mama B prefers to be an only kitty.
Watch her 2 new videos!:
- In this video, Terry shows her sweet nature and beautiful black fur.
- In this video, Terry shows how much she loves to play!
See her full page ad in the October 2026 PawPrints magazine!
Here is her amazing story …
She was violated at an early age, but successfully raised 4 kittens so now she needs to rest and relax!
When FURR trapped her as a homeless cat and took her to spay/neuter clinic, we were told she was nursing kittens! So I put a tracking collar on her released her and sure enough she went straight back to her NEW born kittens inside of an abandoned boat!
All 4 of her kittens have since been adopted including the daddy cat that I also rescued! Meet her daughter Emmy, adopted with Bubbles, and her sons Oscar & Tony.
Mama B is a sweet little black fuzz ball & LOVES to be scratched & brushed! She is healthy and no trouble at all! She is constantly overlooked for adoption because people assume that she is nothing special, but far from it! She’s a little angel and someone very lucky will be taking her home!!!
