August 20, 2026 SUGAR & BUNS ADOPTED!!!

Wonderful news!!!  SUGAR & BUNS (2 of Honey’s boy kittens) are being adopted by our very own FURR volunteers & foster couple:  LAURA & JIM!!!

We are so excited that the kittens have the best home ever & LAURA & JIM already have FOUR FURR kitties!!!  Now, they have 6 FURR kitties!  Before them, the winning number was 5 FURR cats adopted into one family.  Now, the most FURR adoptions in one family is SIX!  WOW!

April 16, 2026 URGENTLY NEED A FOSTER HOME FOR A SWEET, LOVING MAMA AND 4 BEAUTIFUL KITTENS! Last week a lady dropped off a stray cat at Sound Cat Veterinary Hospital. The lady said the kitty was having problems (but wasn’t her kitty. She was having kittens!

Sound Cat called me & said they don’t keep moms & babies! I went & got them & unfortunate, since I’m out of room at the rescue, the mom & FOUR kittens are at my house!

I promised my husband i would NOT bring any more cats & kittens home if i opened a rescue

The cat is SUPER friendly & the 4 kittens are adorable. I don’t have any room at FURR, but I do want them at FURR as soon as possible because this mama THRIVES on attention & love!

I don’t have time or space to give her what she needs! Thanks!

We are BONDED brothers! Both of us are about 4-years-young and just “BEAUTIMOUS” in the Sept 2026 PawPrints magazine! That’s me, Orange Roughy, on the left. I have long blonde hair! Red Fish is on the right. He’s more of a crew cut guy!

We love to play together, eat together and just hang out together! FURR is working hard to get us a home together! We are both totally vetted and ready to go! We are a teensy shy at first with new people, but after we get to know you, it’s all GREAT from there! Please come to meet us…we are waiting so patiently for YOU! Orange Roughy’s equally handsome and brother Guppy needs a patient, loving foster home as they are very shy, so they need help preparing for adoption into a FURR-ever home someday.

They were just kittens when I trapped & saved them from a seafood production plant that was closing down.

The kittens had been traumatized, starved & constantly dodging massive tractor trailer trucks & equipment. They were pitiful & barely alive when I finally caught them.

These 2 brothers have come through a tremendous journey. They are both now healthy & kind, but still very very cautious especially around someone new.

We have worked hard to help them gain confidence and feel safe, but no one will adopt them or give them a chance. Most adopters are looking for a “purrfect” cat that will make themselves happy. Im looking for that selfless adopter that wants to save a life or two because that is what paying it forward & rescue work is all about.

These two beautiful sweet boys need time & love. If you think you have patience & a big heart for the not-so-purrfect cats, give me a call! As soon as you meet these precious souls, your heart will tell you what to do.

I feel so sorry for these cats after so many rescues have come & gone and they still wait for a chance of a home.

“Orange Roughy” is the big, beautiful long haired orange boy and “Guppy” is his gorgeous orange & white brother.

I pray for them every day. I know their angel adopter is out there somewhere!

Davis is an adorable silver tabby male! FUN, FUN, FUN!

My niece found this little guy almost dead in the bushes of her front yard! Anemic from hundreds of fleas, skin & bones from starvation and FULL of worms, this kitten was on his way out.

My nieces husband wrapped him in a towel and brought him inside. I got a call and we all went to work!

After a couple weeks of meds, food and a flea bath, this little boy kitten is doing great! He is the sweetest and happiest fella!

What a great rescue!!!

Sept. 7, 2024 Meet adorable me in my new video!

April 13, 2024 My name is “BUMBLE BEE” and FURR rescued me from a terrible situation!  My BIG bright eyes look just like a bee and my colors too!  I am no bigger than a football and have quite a silly/sassy personality!  After I get to know someone who is sweet and gentle with me, I follow them all around meowing and sticking my tail straight up in the air! 

I’m only between 1 and 2 years old and I love belly rubs.  They tell me that I’ve probably had a litter of kittens before!  I wonder what happened to them?  All I need is a little patience and love to become your little friend!  Come visit me soon.  I would probably prefer no dogs or loud children, but I do just fine with other cats.  If they bother me, I just give them a pop with my paw, but no claws!  Call me “Bee” for short!!!
